In anticipation of an upcoming award, we are seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Database Administrator with experience working in a federal network environment to join our team.

US Citizenship and the ability to pass and maintain a Federal government (Public Trust) clearance are required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide maintenance, development, and analytical support of multiple applications’ databases for transportation safety

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • At least five (5) years of experience performing database administration tasks for MSSQL Server, Oracle, and/or other similar technology
  • Experience documenting database schemas and troubleshooting SQL code and design.
  • Proven expertise in writing, testing, and optimizing database-stored procedures
  • Data migration and associated methodology and documentation expertise are key
  • Experience across database software types is required given the nature of any migration activities 
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise with the targeted database technology

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience working collaboratively in an Agile environment

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Four years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
