TCG is an award-winning IT solutions provider to the Federal government. We are seeking an Employee Experience Associate to join our Human Resources and Happiness teams. This is a fully remote position, however, candidates must be located within commuting distance of Northwest Washington, DC.

United States citizenship is required for this position.

The Employee Experience Associate handles a wide range of employee experience activities. This position carries out various duties relating to key employee experience areas, including new employee hiring and onboarding, compensation administration, employee engagement, benefits, perqs, training, and career reviews. The role also supports and contributes to new initiatives and programs that help engage employees and meet functional objectives.


  • Provide general administrative support including mailing, scanning, and maintaining electronic and hardcopy filing systems, including making trips to our HQ building
  • Perform data entry
  • Assist in resolving administrative challenges of all kinds
  • Audit payroll and employee records as needed
  • Assist in maintaining employee records current across multiple HR systems
  • Assist with yearly reporting tasks such as ACA, salary surveys, EEO reports, and Affirmative Action requirements
  • Assist with HR and Happiness research projects
  • Assist with Central (company Intranet) postings and content updates
  • Manage assets held by employees
  • Perform employment verifications
  • Assist with perqs management and execution
  • Initiate and send employee ecards, birthday cards, and gifts
  • Send welcome gifts and onboarding kits to all new hires
  • Schedule birthday meets and Happiness check-ins
  • Update employee directory regularly
  • Assist with administrative functions of Career Reviews and Learning & Development
  • Provide administrative support for Happiness team meetings and projects, including scheduling, agendas, Jira, note taking
  • Other duties as assigned


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing administrative support, preferably in a human resource management or related functional environment
  • Must reside in Washington, DC metro area and be willing to travel to Northern Virginia, Maryland, or DC for errands or to meet with team members
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record and a reliable car
  • Excellent typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and grammar, both written and spoken
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Four years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
