TCG is an award-winning IT solutions provider to the Federal government. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer, currently residing in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, to join our team. This is a telecommuting position.

US Citizenship and the ability to pass a Federal government clearance check are required for this position.


  • Support the development and deployment of a single sign-in login in an enterprise environment
  • Provide back end development support primarily in JAVA
  • Provide front end development support utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while meeting Section 508 accessibility standards
  • Support the deployment of the application into a cloud-based environment


  • At least 6 years of experience working as a developer
  • At least 3 years experience with backend development either Java with Spring Framework or Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with deploying an application in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or
  • At least 1 year of experience with front end technologies including HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Familiarity with Linux System Administration and Bash scripting skills, particularly with RHEL
  • Experience building containers and orchestrating containers using Docker or similar technology, including scripting and configuration
  • Intermediate experience using Git or other distributed revision control system in a team environment
  • Understanding of SAML interfaces and protocols
  • Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, and Ant build systems, Apache Httpd
  • Working knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins and other continuous integration tools
  • Knowledge of web security best practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
  • Strong understanding of automation techniques, scripting technologies, DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines
  • Well-rounded experience in an Agile/Scrum environment working with various technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and quickly review and understand an unfamiliar codebase independently
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in technical documentation
  • Ability to act as point person on high-profile projects, to include prioritizing and Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity, and clear appreciation of end-customer needs


  • Experience with one of Apereo CAS or Shibboleth Identity Provider
  • Familiarity with IAM systems such as Ping, OpenAM, ADFS, or Tivoli Access Manager
  • Understanding of the OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocol
  • Familiarity with the International Government Assurance (iGov) profile
  • Track record of successful contributions to open source projects on platforms such as or
  • Experience with SQL and stored procedures as well as relational database administration such as MySQL (Percona) and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with AngularJS or similar Javascript frameworks
  • Experience using a wide variety of technologies such as Jenkins, Chef, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, CDK, etc.


  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
