TCG is an award-winning government IT solutions provider. We are seeking an Information Security Analyst, currently residing in metropolitan DC, to join our team at a high profile agency of the Federal government. US Citizenship and a TS/SCI clearance are required.

The Information Security Analyst will provide quantitative and qualitative analysis regarding security performance, and provide input regarding policy and tool selection, and make recommendations based on best practices in information security.

To perform this job effectively, candidates should have prior experience in the following areas:

  • Researching, developing, coordinating, maintaining and ensuring compliance with information security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Contributing to the development of multiple Federally mandated reports to Congress
  • Coordinating with members of the team to ensure an understanding of agency-specific context surrounding cybersecurity needs
  • Examining and reporting on policy and standard compliance for Federal networks
  • Utilizing familiarity with computer networks, vulnerability assessments, and system threat assessments to make policy recommendations on information security issues
  • Providing analysis in support of network and system forensics in response to security incidents
  • Measuring agency progress in implementing cybersecurity measures through the analysis of information security metrics
  • Effectively translating data into concise written analyses
  • Analyzing security requirements to determine if they meet government-mandated security policies
  • Gathering, organizing, and documenting technical information about the organization’s mission, goals, and needs; existing security products; and ongoing programs at various multi-level security levels
  • Performing risk analyses, including risk assessments

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • CISSP certification
