Government Futures is a relatively new site intends to create dialog and encourage participation in modernizing government. Founded by Bruce McConnell and Margaret Anderson, both well-known faces in DC’s IT circles, the site features micropolls, blogs, and white papers on issues such as procurement reform and Government 2.0. Their latest report, titled Procurement at the Crossroads: What Should You Do?, is balanced and thoughtful. If the site features more products like this, Government Futures will become a must-view destination for anyone interested in using IT to improve government’s effectiveness.
