LAMHDI, the NIH initiative to Link Animal Models to Human Disease, held its annual planning meeting last week (August 15-17) in Bethesda. Attended by scientists and researchers from nine cooperating institutions and several federal agencies, the meeting focused on ways to extend the service at http://www.lamhdi.org to new areas and to meet emerging needs in treating and curing human disease. TCG has held the contract to run the LAMHDI program since its inception in 2008.
