Treasury Awards Emergency Programs Support Contract to TCG

Company Will Provide Key Support Services to the Office of Emergency Programs

Washington, DC, October 14, 2010: – The United States Department of the Treasury has awarded TCG a contract to provide mission-critical support services for its Office of Emergency Programs (OEP). TCG and its key subcontracting partner for this task, Corner Alliance, will provide strategic planning and program management support to OEP.

About the Department of Treasury Office of Emergency Programs
The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Emergency Programs (OEP) was established to be the lead emergency management and national security organization within the Treasury Department. OEP’s unique mission is to coordinate and facilitate the Department’s emergency programs by working with interagency partners on national security and emergency preparedness initiatives.  OEP is responsible for developing and maintaining the policies, plans, and procedures to support those initiatives as well as conducting the associated training, tests, and exercises.  OEP’s functional areas include emergency management, continuity, emergency communications, and shelter in place/ evacuation. OEP’s mission is highly dependent upon working effectively with customers and stakeholders.  As such, it is critical that OEP establish and maintain processes to be in regular communication with stakeholders to ensure strategies and plans align to and support their customer’s highest priority emergency preparedness requirements.
