Turns Out, TCG Is a Pretty Great Place to Work

At least that’s what TCGers have said for 12 years in a row.

TCG has been named a Top Workplaces 2026 winner by WTOP News, ranking 41 out of 121. This makes 12 straight years of earning the honor. The award is based entirely on feedback from TCG employees, collected through an independent survey.

In other words, the people who know TCG best keep saying it’s a pretty great place to work.

TCG also received special recognition for communications. TCGers are well informed and kept in the loop about important decisions at the company. Being fair, honest, and open is one of TCG’s core values.

This award is a testament to our people, who bring TCG’s Core Values to life every day,” said Daniel Turner, Chief Executive Officer. “They’ve built a culture that thrives on transparency and mutual support, proving that when colleagues learn together and share ideas openly, we build a more resilient and mission-driven organization.

The anonymous Workplace Survey measures key aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, connection, engagement, leadership, and employee experiences related to pay, benefits, flexibility, and professional growth.

As a Public Benefit Corporation and Certified B Corporation, TCG believes taking care of employees is part of the job. B Corp certification recognizes companies that meet high standards for social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

TCG has been remote-work-first since day one, long before it was trendy. Even with employees working from home, at customer sites, and across the country, the company has built a culture that keeps people connected. Benefits are designed to support life inside and outside of work, including emergency child care assistance, student loan repayment support, professional development opportunities, and an award-winning adoption assistance benefit.

Yes, TCG even has a full-time Happiness Department.

The team helps employees build community, grow professionally, and maintain healthy work-life balance. It organizes programs that bring people together, celebrate accomplishments, support volunteer efforts, and make sure everyone feels like they belong—wherever they happen to work.

“At TCG, employee happiness isn’t a perq, it’s an intentional investment,” Turner said. “Being a Certified B Corporation means we measure our success by our service to federal agencies as well and by how well we support the people who make their missions possible.”

TCG employees support the missions of more than 15 federal agencies, including the Department of Transportation, U.S. International Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, Office of Management and Budget, and General Services Administration.
