Somehow I missed this when it was published earlier in the month (bad, Google Search, bad!) but GCN has a nice profile of the Administration for Children and Families’ GMLOB offering, GrantSolutions.gov. The article explains what the motivations were behind ACF nominating itself, how much they charge per transaction ($200, for the record), and some of the effects of servicing other agencies. I think this is perhaps the best insight yet-published about the genesis and operation of a GMLOB service center.
